Position: Threat Assessment Analyst – Entry-Level San Antonio, Texas

This is anentry-levelAnalyst position in our Threat Assessment & Management Division. This position is based in San Antonio, TX, with a mix of in-person and remote work. Candidates should be able to commute to North San Antonio, TX at least three times per week. Base compensation ranges from $45k-$55k annually, depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
College graduate, inquisitive, eager to learn, and a self-starter.
Strong writing skills capable of persuading and conveying viewpoints effectively.
Enjoy solving puzzles, sorting through information, deciphering connections, and sharing insights concisely.
Ability to handle multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
Confident, poised in meetings, and able to think on your feet.
Able to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Able to pass background checks and drug/nicotine screenings.
Desired Qualifications
Experience working in an office and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Exposure to legal principles and procedures; interest in law, law school, or experience in law or investigative firms.
Familiarity with Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and legal research tools.
Interest in sociology, psychology, investigations, journalism, or risk assessment.
Organized, with a knack for creating systems to maintain order and efficiency.
Good team player, capable of collaborating and fostering a positive team environment.
You will join an ambitious team dedicated to assessing, investigating, and managing cases involving safety and privacy. Your duties include reviewing and assessing written and verbal communications to determine risk factors and areas needing further research. Candidates often have backgrounds or interests in law, psychology, and criminal justice.
Research
Evaluate court records, public documents, open sources, databases, and other investigative materials.
Conduct OSINT to gather additional information on relevant persons or events.
Analysis & Assessment
Identify trends and inconsistencies in reports and research findings.
Draw actionable conclusions to mitigate risks and uncover hard-to-find information.
Communicate methodology and recommendations clearly in writing and presentations.
