Job Title: Compliance Officer
Department: Compliance Department
Reports to: Compliance Supervisor and Compliance Assistant Manager
Location: Tribal Gaming Commission
Shift: Flexibility of hours required; hours of operation are 24/7 and subject to call-in at any time
Position Status: Regular Full Time
Salary Level: Salary DOE

SUMMARY
Perform a variety of tasks to assure compliance with provisions of the Tribal Gaming Ordinance Tribal Gaming Regulations, MICS Standards, State Compact, Casino Policies and procedures. Observe and report that Casino activities, gaming equipment, transactions, and report requirements comply with Tribal, Federal, and State gaming laws and regulations, and internal controls. This position requires observation and report only of Casino correction actions.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma is required to fill this position. An Associates degree from a two-year college or university is preferred. At least two years investigative or auditing experience with law enforcement or a regulatory agency is preferred. A B.S./B.A. degree or greater may substitute for experience. Equivalent combination of experience, training, or education may substitute for college education. Two years of casino security experience is a plus. Entry Level Position Available.
