At Birkenhead Sixth Form College, we’re passionate about teaching and creating a positive, progressive environment for both our students and staff. We seek to appoint a dedicated and outstanding teacher to join our Law team. This is a permanent, full‑time position. The department offers both A Level Law and the BTEC Extended Certificate in Applied Law following the Pearson specification; the A Level Law follows the OCR specification.
Law is a popular course with over 300 students across both courses.
The suitable candidate will be immersed in their subject and passionate about imparting this enthusiasm to students. The teacher must be highly effective in the classroom, manage records of work submission, student performance, attendance, and promptly tackle any issues that arise. Both experienced teachers and NQTs are encouraged to apply, and we will support the successful candidate’s development in a college renowned for innovation and the exceptional progress of its students.
