Position: Tax Attorney (Senior Counsel or Member)
Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC – Tax Attorney Position
Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC, a full-service law firm with over 300 attorneys across 14 offices in New York State, Boston, Kansas City, FL, and NJ, is seeking an experienced tax attorney. The role involves working on the tax aspects of planning and executing business transactions, structuring business and real estate entities, and advising clients and colleagues on federal and New York State tax matters.

Locations:
Albany, Buffalo, Melville, Rochester, Syracuse, and Westchester, NY.
Skills &
Educational Requirements:
Current NY Bar admission.
J.D. degree from an accredited law school. An LLM in tax law or a CPA license in NY is helpful but not required.
At least 9+ years of experience practicing tax law, including partnership tax, corporate tax, and tax structuring, especially in mergers and acquisitions.
Tax credit experience is a plus but not mandatory.
Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and respond promptly to client needs.
Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-office, team-based environment.

Compensation:
The salary range for the Senior Counsel level is $150,000 – $275,000, depending on experience, qualifications, skill set, and office location.
