Our client, an excellent and highly regarded California law firm, seeks a well-qualified candidate to join their Tax Practice. The successful candidate will play a key role in various business transactions, conducting due diligence, drafting contracts, and providing legal guidance throughout the transaction process. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team with an energetic practice spanning the nation.
Requirements:
Four (4) or more years of tax experience. Ideal candidate will have experience handling a broad variety of federal, state and local tax matters as well as with startup tax issues, including qualified small business stock. Knowledge of general corporate law and M&A transactions is beneficial. Tax LL.M. preferred. This firm offers a highly collegial setting with reasonable billable hour requirements.
Base salary is commensurate with experience and ranges from $210,000 to $300,000 for this position. While they offer the
flexibility
