Aligned Talent Acquisition is recruiting for a Tax Associate Attorney opportunity with a leading Am Law 50 firm in Chicago .
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with sophisticated transactional tax experience to work on complex matters involving mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and international transactions .
Ideal Background
- 2–6 years of tax experience
- Experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, international transactions, or a combination of these areas
- Experience providing tax guidance in connection with sophisticated corporate transactions
- Ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent and ongoing matters
- High level of motivation, initiative, and problem-solving ability
- Strong client relationship and communication skills
- Excellent analytical, drafting, and organizational skills
- High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school
- LL.M. in Taxation preferred, but not required
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
