Job Purpose: The Procurement & Contracts Tamheer Intern will support the Procurement function in managing sourcing activities, vendor coordination, and contract administration. This role provides hands-on exposure to procurement operations, contract lifecycle processes, and cross-functional collaboration within a structured corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement Support
- Assist in preparing purchase requests (PRs) and purchase orders (POs) in line with internal policies.
- Support vendor sourcing activities, including collecting quotations and maintaining supplier databases.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement requirements and timelines.
- Track order status and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
2. Contracts Administration
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing contracts and agreements.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of contracts in compliance with company standards.
- Support in tracking contract validity, renewals, and key obligations.
- Coordinate with legal and relevant stakeholders for contract approvals and updates.
3. Data & Reporting
- Maintain procurement trackers and ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare basic reports on procurement activities, vendor performance, and contract status.
- Support in analyzing procurement data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
4. Compliance & Process Adherence
- Ensure all procurement and contract activities comply with company policies and procedures.
- Support internal audits by providing required documentation and records.
- Contribute to improving procurement workflows and documentation processes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Law, or related field.
- Eligibility for the Tamheer Program (Saudi Nationals only). (Eligibility requirement: https://www.hrdf.org.sa/en/products-and-services/programs/individuals/training/graduate-development/)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills in English and Arabic.
