About the role
Consolidated Consulting Group (CCG) coordinates ALTA/NSPS land title surveys and zoning reports for commercial real estate clients. We’re hiring a part-time Survey & Zoning Coordinator to run survey projects from quote to final delivery — coordinating surveyors, title companies, counsel and clients, and reviewing preliminary surveys against our internal standards. It’s a remote, roughly three-day-a-week role with room to grow into independent review and, for the right person, a full-time scope.
What you’ll do
Manage survey projects end to end — intake, quoting, requests for proposals to surveyors,proposals, work orders, and coordination through fieldwork, revisions and final delivery.
Quote and propose — prepare and send quotes and proposals from established templates; solicit and compare surveyor bids; present cost and timeline options to clients.
Review preliminary surveys — check ALTA/NSPS land title surveys against CCG’s checklist — legal description and Schedule B against the title commitment, easements, encroachments, flood zone, setbacks, Table A items and certification — and prepare review comments for clients and counsel.
Coordinate zoning — order and help review zoning reports alongside each survey.
Keep everything moving — maintain project files and status, and follow up with all parties to keepwork on schedule.
Cross-train — learn Phase I Environmental Site Assessments to support other service lines over time.
What we’re looking for
Required
Title-company, title-examiner, escrow, or closely related real estate or survey experience.
Comfort reading legal descriptions and title commitments, with strong attention to detail.
Excellent written communication — you’ll own client, surveyor and counsel email.
Highly organized and self-directed; able to manage several active projects remotely with minimaloversight.
Preferred
Familiarity with ALTA/NSPS surveys, zoning reports, or commercial real estate due diligence.
Houston-based (a plus, not required).
Details
Schedule: Part-time, 3 days/week (roughly 20–24 hours), hourly.
Location: Remote (U.S.); Houston metro a plus.
Compensation: $28–40/hour, depending on experience.
Growth: Training and mentorship from a senior reviewer, with a path to independent review and potential full-time expansion.
