JOB TITLE: Sr. Contracts Law

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Legal Counsel – Contracts to lead and manage the
drafting, negotiation, and review of a wide range of commercial agreements. This
individual will serve as a strategic legal advisor on contractual matters, mitigate legal
risks, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal policies. The ideal
candidate will have extensive experience supporting business functions with legal
expertise, especially in commercial contract management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements
including NDAs, vendor/supplier agreements, customer contracts, and
service agreements.
? Provide legal support and guidance to internal stakeholders across
departments such as Sales, Procurement, Operations, and Finance.
? Analyze contract terms to ensure compliance with company policies and
applicable laws.
? Assist with the development and maintenance of standard contract templates
and negotiation guidelines.
? Support the resolution of contract-related issues and disputes, including
providing risk assessments and recommended courses of action.
? Track contract status and maintain contract management systems, ensuring
timely approvals and renewals.
? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline contract review and
approval processes.
? Support legal training and awareness for business teams, especially around
key legal and compliance obligations in contracts.
? Monitor and report on contract trends, risk areas, and legal developments
that may impact the company’s commercial operations.
? Assist with corporate governance, regulatory filings, or other legal
department tasks, as needed.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of relevant experience.
Commercial contracts, with a strong preference for in-house counsel or law firm
background supporting corporate clients preferred.
Strong understanding of contract law and experience with contract dispute resolution.
Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong business acumen and the ability to provide practical, solution-oriented legal
advice.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

EDUCATION: Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution.
