Business Litigation Attorney (2 – 4 yr)

We are seeking a 2 to 4-year Business Litigation Attorney. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in complex commercial litigation, excellent legal research and writing skills, and a desire to take ownership of cases from inception through resolution.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Handle all aspects of case management from intake through trial and appeal, under partner supervision.
Draft and respond to pleadings, motions (including motions for summary judgment and to compel), and discovery requests.
Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda, briefs, and analysis for internal and client use.
Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations.
Prepare witnesses and clients for depositions, hearings, and trial.
Take and defend depositions of parties, experts, and third-party witnesses.
Collaborate with partners and clients to develop litigation strategy and case theories.
Assist with or lead trial preparation, including drafting pre-trial motions, exhibit lists, witness outlines, and jury instructions.
Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates, answer questions, and manage expectations.
Engage in settlement negotiations and draft settlement agreements as needed.
Supervise or mentor junior associates, law clerks, and paralegals where appropriate.
Ensure compliance with court deadlines, local rules, and procedural requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admitted to practice law and in good standing with the state bar.
2–4 years of commercial or business litigation experience at a reputable law firm.
Comfortable handling depositions, law & motion, and discovery independently.
Exposure to shareholder disputes, real estate litigation, contract disputes, and partnership conflicts is a plus
Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Bill 1900 Billable Hours Annually

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Salary range is between $140,000 – $180,000 + Bonus Potential
