What the ideal candidate looks like:
- Proven experience in corporate, commercial, or advertising law (agency or media experience is a strong advantage)
- Emotional intelligence and knowing how to read the room
- Excellent knowledge of contract law, IP rights, and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a practical, business-oriented approach
- Exceptional communication skills, and to be able to translate legal complexity into clear, actionable advice
- High level of responsiveness and ownership, with the ability to act quickly when urgent matters arise
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, deadline-driven setting with shifting priorities
- Strong attention to detail while maintaining a big-picture perspective
- Fluency in English/Bulgarian (written and spoken)
- Qualified legal professional (LLB/LLM or equivalent), admitted to practice in Bulgaria or the EU
What you’ll do:
- Advise on contracts, partnerships, and advertising regulations
- Support creative teams with clear, practical legal guidance
- Manage risk while enabling innovation
- Ensure compliance in a rapidly evolving industry
- Create and share legal documents such as contracts, NDAs, non-competes, and more for clients, partners and employees
- Advise the executive and leadership team on best practice methodology for legal matters
- Filing of necessary legal paperwork
- Resolving client disputes
- Registering and advising on entities for the company
- Day to day legal consultations for operations and finance team
