Responsibilities:
– Assist real estate attorneys with administrative tasks, including document management and file organization
– Provide support in legal matters related to real estate transactions, such as drafting legal documents, proofreading contracts, and scheduling closings.
– Manage calendars and schedule appointments for real estate attorneys
– Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
– Coordinate and manage projects related to property listings and client communications
– Perform general clerical duties, such as data entry, filing, and photocopying
Requirements:
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
– Proficiency in document management systems and file organization
– Knowledge of real estate law and regulations or willingness and humility to learn.
– Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
– Familiarity with legal drafting and proofreading is preferred
– Previous experience in a law office, administrative or clerical role is required
Most Importantly: – Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
– Must have at least an associates degree from an accredited institution.
Previous legal assistant experience is preferred.
