Consumer Protection Attorney (TCPA)

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Consumer Protection Attorney to join our firm. This role focuses on representing clients affected by deceptive, abusive, or unfair business practices, with a strong emphasis on compliance and litigation involving consumer protection laws such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
Key Responsibilities:
Represent consumers in cases involving fraud, false advertising, deceptive trade practices, and violations of federal and state consumer protection laws.
Handle claims related to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), including robocalls, unsolicited text messages, and unauthorized telemarketing practices.
Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, discovery, motions, and briefs.
Advise clients on legal rights and remedies under consumer protection statutes.
Negotiate settlements and advocate on behalf of clients in court, mediation, and arbitration.
Monitor regulatory developments and provide compliance guidance to clients.
Maintain detailed records and provide regular case updates to clients.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in California.
Minimum 1 year of experience in consumer protection, civil litigation, or related areas.
Strong knowledge of the TCPA, FDCPA, FCRA, and state consumer protection laws.
Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
