As such, we are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated associate attorney with at least 2 years of experience in personal injury plaintiff work. This is a full-time, in-office position located at our Washington, D.C. headquarters. The ideal candidate is highly organized, an excellent communicator, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage pre-litigation personal injury cases from intake through settlement
Communicate with clients, providers, insurance adjusters, and lien holders
Request and review medical records and bills
Draft demand letters and prepare settlement documentation
Maintain accurate case files and deadlines using case management software
Collaborate closely with attorneys and other team members, especially paralegals
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in personal injury plaintiff pre-litigation work
Strong understanding of the personal injury claims process
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday to Friday
In-office position only – remote work is not available for this role
