About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Recruiter who has experience recruiting for legal roles to manage all aspects of the recruitment process. This role will report to the Director of Human Resources. This role will focus on sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates for legal roles, including plaintiff personal injury and asbestos attorneys, as well as general staff positions such as paralegals, legal assistants, and administrative personnel. The recruiter will also oversee the scheduling and coordination of interviews, ensuring a seamless and professional candidate experience. This role is meant to be ongoing with the firm, on an as needed basis. Hours will vary depending on hiring needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates for both legal and non-legal positions.
Candidate Sourcing: Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract top talent through job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
Industry Expertise: Identify and engage with candidates experienced in plaintiff-focused personal injury and asbestos litigation.
Interview Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates, Human Resources and hiring managers, ensuring timely communication and professionalism.
Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
Job Postings: Create and post compelling job descriptions tailored to each role, ensuring alignment with company culture and needs.
Collaboration: Partner with Human Resources and hiring managers to understand job requirements, team dynamics, and long-term staffing goals.
Offer Management: Assist in extending offers and negotiating terms with selected candidates.
Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities align with legal and organizational policies.
You Have:
Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably within the legal industry.
Familiarity with plaintiff personal injury and asbestos litigation is a strong plus.
Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple roles and schedules simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A commitment to maintaining a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Our Benefits:
Salary Range: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour
This role will be ongoing with the firm, working on an as needed basis. It is anticipated that the first 6 months of this role will be a consistent 30 hours per week.
The quoted salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate’s experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
