Sr. Contracts Coordinator I (Hybrid) Jobs in Chicago, IL at American Medical Association
The Part Time Compliance Officer is responsible for managing the compliance of loan operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of post closing compliance documentation and loan reviews. This person will be responsible for assessing loan collateral assignments and security positions. They will be responsible for identifying potential threats that will ultimately negatively impact ARM’s operations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Partner with the Director of Risk and Compliance to develop and administer risk-management, compliance and loss-prevention programs.
Work with other organizational leaders to develop and initiate policies, to comply with protection legislation and industry best practices.
Monitor compliance activities with a focus on operational risk guidelines.
Assist with the legal process on collections and impairments.
Conduct performance audits on customer loans and adjust risk levels and loan amounts as needed, based on the outcome of the performance audits.
Assist in External Audit Reviews for portfolio compliance with company standards.
Responsible for ensuring all documentation and processes comply with relevant regulations and company policies and procedures.
Provide ongoing guidance and support to other team members, regarding all risk and compliance matters.
Continually focus on identifying and implementing process improvements that seek to enhance efficiency and accuracy in risk assessment and compliance.
Responsible for the following metrics:
Post closing packages to investors within 72 hours of funding.
Document submission and resolution to Custodial Agent
Activate approved and closed loans in the Nortridge system within 30 minutes.
Process UCC lien filings, terminations, and extensions
Complete post-closing, pre-funding document and condition reviews for booking
Experience, qualifications and requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required in business, risk/compliance, finance, or related field.
At least 5 years of field experience in risk management, compliance, or a related role.
Microsoft Office Suite knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Office 365).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and high accuracy of analyzing and processing information.
Experience with loan processing, risk management and compliance regulations.
Experience with statistical analysis a plus.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Ability to travel, on occasion, as needed by the Company.
