Insurance Defense Paralegal
Core Responsibilities:
Prepare and draft various legal documents for attorney review, including pleadings, subpoenas, discovery materials, correspondence, and interrogatories
Conduct thorough legal research and case investigations
Support trial preparation by organizing case materials, assisting with witness preparation, and creating trial exhibits
Provide in-trial support to attorneys
Handle claim demands and pursue general claims, including fact investigation
Maintain accurate timekeeping and billing records according to firm guidelines
Technical Requirements:
Proficiency with Federal Court CM/ECF system and electronic filings
Experience using Summation or Eclipse legal software
Strong document management and organization skills
Ability to effectively summarize complex case materials and reports
Time Commitment:
A minimum 125 billable hours per month required
Must demonstrate consistent track record of meeting billable targets
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior trial experience
Proven experience in complex litigation support
Track record of successful case management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
