Sr Attorney for Southern CA’s Top Employment Law Firm Jobs in Irvine, CA at Elements Law Recruiting

SENIOR ASSOCIATE ATTORNEYClass Action Wage & Hour | Orange County | Hybrid / Remote OpportunityOrange County Attorneys — Ready to Level Up Without the LA Commute?

Elements Law Recruiting is partnering with one of Southern California’s top plaintiff-side Class Action Wage & Hour firms to identify an experienced Senior Associate in Orange County looking for the combination of sophisticated work, exceptional support, career growth, and true flexibility.

This is a hybrid / remote opportunity specifically designed for an Orange County-based attorney who wants access to the resources and career trajectory of a major Los Angeles employment law team without having to build their life around a daily commute into LA.

Our client is a 2026 Top Workplace that has built an exceptional platform for attorneys to succeed — sophisticated Class Action matters, experienced leadership, outstanding support, strong infrastructure, and a proven blueprint that allows talented attorneys to focus on becoming exceptional litigators.

We’re looking for an attorney with approximately 3–5+ years of experience and a background in Employment Law, Class Action Wage & Hour, general Class Action litigation, or sophisticated complex litigation.

If you’ve already built a strong litigation foundation and are ready for a platform that can take you significantly further, this is an opportunity to supercharge the next stage of your career.

THE PRACTICE

Our client is one of Southern California’s leading plaintiff-side firms focused specifically on Class Action Wage & Hour matters.

The team handles sophisticated representative and class matters involving California wage and hour laws and has built an impressive infrastructure around its attorneys.

This means experienced associates aren’t left trying to do everything themselves.

You’ll have access to experienced leadership, dedicated legal support, established systems, and specialized teams designed to allow attorneys to operate efficiently while focusing on strategy, litigation, case development, and results.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Senior Associate, you’ll take an active role in managing and advancing sophisticated Class Action Wage & Hour matters while collaborating with senior attorneys and firm leadership.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Managing Class Action Wage & Hour matters through significant stages of litigation
  • Developing litigation and case strategy
  • Drafting and arguing substantive motions
  • Managing written discovery and complex discovery disputes
  • Taking and defending depositions
  • Conducting sophisticated legal research and analysis
  • Handling class certification issues and briefing
  • Reviewing payroll, timekeeping, and employment records
  • Preparing matters for mediation
  • Participating in settlement negotiations
  • Evaluating damages and case value
  • Communicating directly with clients
  • Working closely with paralegals, legal assistants, and other support professionals
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys
  • Taking increasing ownership and responsibility over matters

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FORIdeal Background

  • Approximately 3–5+ years of litigation experience
  • Active California Bar membership
  • Class Action Wage & Hour experience highly preferred
  • Broader plaintiff or defense-side employment litigation experience strongly considered
  • Attorneys with general Class Action or complex litigation experience are encouraged to apply
  • Strong motion practice and legal writing skills
  • Experience with discovery and depositions
  • Excellent analytical and case-management abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to independently manage significant responsibilities
  • Leadership mentality and willingness to mentor developing attorneys
  • Based in or within reasonable proximity to Orange County

You do not necessarily need to come directly from a plaintiff-side Wage & Hour firm.

Attorneys coming from employment defense, general Class Actions, consumer Class Actions, or other sophisticated litigation practices may have highly transferable experience.

For the right attorney, the team can provide the support and specialized knowledge necessary to transition those skills into its Class Action Wage & Hour platform.

ORANGE COUNTY FLEXIBILITY

One of the biggest advantages of this opportunity is the ability to build your career with a major Southern California plaintiff-side practice without committing to the traditional daily Los Angeles commute.

This position offers a hybrid / remote structure for an Orange County-based attorney, providing greater flexibility while keeping you connected to the firm’s attorneys, leadership, resources, and support infrastructure.

We’re looking for someone who is independent, accountable, communicative, and capable of thriving with this level of flexibility.

WHY THIS TEAM?

At the Senior Associate level, the platform around you becomes increasingly important.

You already know how to practice law.

The question becomes: How much further could you go with better resources, stronger support, sophisticated cases, and a team genuinely built around attorney success?

This opportunity provides:

  • Sophisticated Class Action Wage & Hour matters
  • Hybrid / remote flexibility for Orange County
  • Experienced attorneys and leadership
  • Dedicated legal and administrative support
  • Established litigation systems and workflows
  • Meaningful case responsibility
  • Opportunities to mentor and lead
  • Continued professional development
  • A team-oriented environment recognized as a 2026 Top Workplace
  • Significant long-term career and compensation growth potential

YOUR NEXT 3–5 YEARS SHOULD BE BIGGER THAN YOUR LAST 3–5

You’ve already put in the years developing your litigation foundation.

Now it’s about finding the right platform to capitalize on that experience.

If you’re an Orange County attorney with 3–5+ years of Employment Law, Class Action Wage & Hour, general Class Action, or transferable complex litigation experience, we’d love to have a confidential conversation.

Keep the flexibility. Lose the daily LA commute. Gain the platform, support, and sophisticated work to take your career to another level.
