Overview
This position executes projects independently in diverse areas of technology and Patent Services, with primary focus on Patent Searching.
The role involves independently understanding project requirements, performing patent and non-patent search using multiple paid/non-paid databases, identifying high quality results, and ensuring high quality deliverables for the clients. Additionally, the role may also require guiding team members on client projects.
Role and responsibilities
Project
Ensuring high Quality delivery and TAT compliance; 100% compliance to client SLAs.
Performing patent and non-patent search using multiple paid and non-paid databases
Identifying high quality search results and preparing high definition reports
Ensuring closure of any feedback received on the project.
2.People
Contributing to training/upskilling team members, as required;
Providing in-depth feedback and feed forward to team members on various projects, as and when required
Operations
Meeting individual and project level targets
Ensuring timely delivery of internal & external reports
Executing various processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
4.Misc.
Displaying effective and responsive communication
Participating in Learning and Development activities at various levels; supporting various BU wide initiatives (as required)
Complying to all specific company policies to apply without exception, including but not limited to compulsory adherence of ISO/IEC 27001:2013 guidelines.
Qualification
Experience
• A minimum of 2 years previous experience in Intellectual Property – Patents
• In-depth knowledge of technical literature in the area of subject matter expertise
• Good knowledge of various Patent Services, including Prior Art Searching, Infringement Analysis, Patent Analytics, etc.
• Knowledge of US Patent Law (35 USC § 101, 102, 112 etc.)
• Ability to analyze complex issues and apply analytical thinking
• High level of computer proficiency in MS Office suite of applications.
Education
• B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering or equivalent
M. Tech/M.E. in wireless domain/Telecom domain or equivalent

• Must have ability to build and maintain relationships, and work confidently with people at all levels
• Must possess an enthusiastic and approachable personality.

• Must be willing to accept responsibility and make decisions based on experience, education and understanding of project needs.
