This Position:
Our client, a healthcare startup, is seeking a healthcare attorney. is attorney will be responsible for reviewing and advising on various contracts, including commercial agreements, employer SaaS contracts, vendor agreements, and health plan contracts. They will also field routine compliance and regulatory questions related to HIPAA, patient complaints, and advise on implementation with larger accounts. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of healthcare experience, specifically in digital health, along with a general privacy background. Medicare/Medicaid experience would be a plus. This person should be comfortable working in Google Docs and have experience with Jira for ticketing. This role is fully remote and requires someone who thrives in a startup environment, can work cross-functionally with the legal ops manager and other operational teams, and helps build internal alignment.
The client is seeking to have someone in the seat ASAP. 30-40 hour per week with an estimated duration of two months. This attorney can be based anywhere in the U.S.
The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $107 and $115. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
