Remote Texas Estate Planning Attorney – Leadership Role with Growth Potential

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Texas-based Estate Planning Attorney to lead our estate planning operations in the state. This position requires an attorney with 3-5 years of estate planning experience, preferably in a high-volume setting. Real estate law experience is preferred, and construction law expertise is a plus.

The Texas Estate Planning Attorney will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s compliance with Texas estate planning laws, ensuring adherence to state regulations, and maintaining best practices. This role offers autonomy, flexibility, and the opportunity to leverage technology to provide superior client service while shaping the firm’s presence in Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advanced healthcare directives, in compliance with Texas law.
Conduct initial consultations with clients to assess their estate planning needs and provide tailored solutions.
Manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining exceptional client communication and service.
Ensure all estate planning procedures align with Texas-specific regulations and oversee the firm’s compliance in the state.
Utilize Interactive Legal or similar estate planning platforms to streamline document preparation and ensure accuracy.
Provide guidance on real estate transactions related to estate planning, such as deed transfers and asset protection strategies.
Stay current with relevant estate planning laws, real estate laws, and, where applicable, construction law in Texas.
Collaborate with the broader Bay Legal team through digital platforms to share insights, best practices, and procedural updates.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school, admitted to the Texas Bar (required).
MBA, CPA, CFA, or other certifications are a plus.
3-5 years of estate planning experience in a high-volume setting.
Real estate law experience preferred; construction law experience is a plus.
Proficiency with Interactive Legal or similar estate planning software.
Strong communication and client management skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to work independently while ensuring compliance with Texas legal standards.

Practice Areas:

Leadership & Compliance Role in Texas:

This is a lead role for Texas operations, requiring oversight of compliance, best practices, and procedural adherence within the state. The attorney in this position will help establish and maintain Bay Legal’s credibility and compliance with Texas legal standards.
