(Monthly salary from HK$29,995 to HK$47,010, 18-month short-term contract)
The Duties
- Provide enquiry services related to the anti-discrimination issues to the public as Duty Officer, including receiving walk-in enquirers and answering incoming calls;
- Provide replies and advice to written enquiries;
- Assist in the investigation of discrimination complaints by conducting inquiries, analysing information and preparing reports;
- Maintain, compile and analyse statistics on complaints and enquiries;
- Provide clerical and operational support to the Division; and
- Undertake any other duties as assigned, including but not limited to internal transfer to other divisions within the EOC.
The Person
- University graduate with 2 years’ or above full-time post-qualification working experience (Graduates with less work experience may be considered but with a remuneration package commensurates with the experience);
- Preference may be given to candidates who have experience in law enforcement, regulatory affairs and/or public service complaint handling;
- Legal qualification or knowledge an advantage;
- Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English;
- Flexible and adaptive to changes;
- Good interpersonal, analytical and communication skills;
- Computer literacy in software applications; and
- Motivated and committed to the EOC’s vision, mission and values.
