Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Process cash transactions efficiently while handling cash handling responsibilities with accuracy
- Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing drink menus to elevate guest experience
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders and manage banquet or catering service when required
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management skills
- Upsell menu items to increase sales while providing expert recommendations based on guest preferences
- Handle customer inquiries professionally, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall satisfaction
Experience
- Proven experience as a server or bartender in a high-volume restaurant or fine dining setting
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Shift 4 for processing transactions efficiently
- Extensive cocktail experience with mixology skills including beverage recipe development and spirits knowledge
- Familiarity with wine service, craft beer varieties, and beverage presentation techniques
- Previous food service experience emphasizing customer service excellence in hospitality environments
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in banquet or catering settings is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively through excellent time management skills
- Basic math skills for retail math calculations, cash handling, and billing accuracy
- Hospitality industry experience demonstrating professionalism, adaptability, and teamwork
