Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and quality standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Follow all sanitation and food handling protocols to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and processing transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures in the food industry
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary
- Prior experience in serving, bussing, hosting/hostessing, or hospitality roles is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items and enhance guest satisfaction through attentive service
