Your profile
You posses an in-house customs brokerage license
Thorough understanding of Harmonized Tariff Schedule and Customs regulations – 19CFR
You have in-depth knowledge of Tariff Classification, Valuation and Country of Origin Determination
You have strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to influence others through demonstrated expertise
Impeccable customer service and able to work well under pressure
Your duties
You are responsible for developing, implementing, training and managing import compliance policies, procedure and internal control programs
You control, analyze and adapt existing processes, preparing the associated documentation
In close cooperation and coordination with our divisions, you support preparation and follow-up work as well as the implementation of strategic projects in Austria and abroad
Able to escalate any unresolved issues or risk before they mateially impact GW
Serve as primary interface with U.S government regulatory agencies on import related issues
maintain current knowledge of all major customs, security, or other agency import programs and their impact on day to day programs
