We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This role requires proficiency in legal drafting, case management, and the ability to conduct comprehensive legal research using tools like Westlaw. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys and ensuring the efficient operation of our legal practice.
Responsibilities
Assist attorneys in preparing for Marital and Family Law trials, hearings, and meetings by organizing case files and documentation.
Conduct legal research and draft various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
Manage case files through effective legal case management practices.
Proofread legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant laws.
Provide executive administrative support, including scheduling appointments, hearings and mediations and managing correspondence.
Maintain an organized filing system for all legal documents and evidence.
Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information for cases.
Stay updated on changes in laws relevant to patent law and environmental law.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Family Law paralegal or in a similar role within a legal environment. Strong skills in litigation support, including the ability to assist with trial preparation. Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in legal drafting and proofreading.
Familiarity with Westlaw or similar legal research tools is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $62,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
