Job Purpose

Support development of commercial and logistics transport licensing policies, systems and revenue mechanisms to ensure compliant, efficient and customer-focused sector operations. Apply specialized expertise in permits, classification and service improvement to enhance regulatory governance and alignment with Authority strategies.

Accountabilities:

Strategy

• Contribute to preparing and developing the commercial and logistics transport licensing system, including policies, processes and technical manuals, ensuring alignment with strategic directions, legislation and international best practices.

• Support preparation and review of policies, technical manuals and requirements in line with UAE regulations, applicable legislation and current and future commercial and logistics transport sector trends.

• Study opportunities to develop and diversify commercial transport licensing revenues and identify financing or fee-structure alternatives for projects and initiatives with concerned authorities.

Operations

• Coordinate issuance of NOCs and permits for commercial transport activities for establishments in accordance with approved policies, procedures and service-level requirements.

• Coordinate issuance of advertising permits on concession sector vehicles and vehicle permits in cooperation with concerned internal and external authorities.

• Apply approved vehicle replacement mechanisms for commercial transport vehicles in coordination with relevant internal and external entities during licensing transactions.

Product / Process Improvement

• Study development and improvement of commercial transport licensing services and their provision in line with latest policies and requirements for companies operating under franchise arrangements.

• Follow up implementation of approved plans and technical initiatives to improve licensing services provided to commercial transport franchise companies.

Physical Working Conditions

• Work primarily in an office environment involving licensing systems, documentation and stakeholder coordination, with occasional meetings or visits related to commercial transport licensing activities.

Job Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Law, Transport or Logistics Management,
  • 6+ years in case of Master's degree (8+ years in case of Bachelor's degree)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent, recognized compliance or regulatory-related certification, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred, broadly recognized transport or logistics professional certification such as APICS, CLTD or similar
