The Role
This is a senior
leadership opportunity
for a solicitor who excels in both legal expertise and business development. You will play a key role in growing our Private Client team, handling high-value, complex, and cross-border contested probate matters, and driving technological advancements in legal practice.
Key Responsibilities
Department Growth &
Innovation:
Develop and implement a
strategic growth
plan for the department, with a focus on business development and international probate cases. Integrate legal technology and
innovative solutions
to improve workflow efficiency and client service delivery. Act as a thought leader, advocating for legal tech advancements and
modern
client care practices.
Client & Case Management:
Provide expert legal advice on high-value, complex contested probate cases, including those with cross-border elements. Leverage your existing client following to expand the firms client base and revenue streams. Maintain exceptional
client satisfaction
through clear
communication
and outstanding service
Team Leadership
& Mentorship :
Lead, supervise, and mentor junior team members, fostering a
collaborative
and
forward-thinking
culture. Drive team productivity and performance through effective delegation, feedback, and
professional development
initiatives. Ensure the department upholds the highest standards of legal service, compliance, and operational excellence.
What Were Looking For: 10+ years PQE in contentious probate. Proven client following with a strong track record of business development. Experience handling cross-border and international probate matters. Strong
leadership
and management skills, with the ability to develop and inspire teams. A technology-driven mindset, keen to integrate legal tech solutions for operational excellence. A strategic thinker with excellent
