Job Description:
Are you a skilled litigation paralegal with a strong background in employment law?
Our client is seeking a talented Senior Paralegal to join our legal team. This is a hybrid position requiring in-office presence as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Case Management: Manage and support a variety of legal cases, including employment law, electric, gas, civil, and regulatory matters.
Document Review and Analysis: Review and analyze legal documents, such as depositions, pleadings, and discovery materials.
Legal Research: Conduct in-depth legal research using Lexis Nexis, Westlaw, and other legal databases.
Document Preparation: Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence.
Docket Management: Monitor court deadlines and maintain case files.
Discovery Support: Assist with the discovery process, including document production and review.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
5+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm setting
Strong knowledge of employment law and litigation procedures
Proficiency in legal research databases (Lexis Nexis, Westlaw)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with e-discovery software (Symantec Clearwell, kCura Relativity)
Must be local to the Bay Area and available for in-office work as needed.
