Senior Paralegal

Our owner is a licensed attorney and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who guides his clients through their legal situation with thoughtful counsel and sound advice based on over a decade of experience.
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated self-starter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in business transactional support, be proficient in Microsoft Office, possess strong organizational skills and have exceptional communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Candidate will be responsible for drafting Estate Planning Documents including, Wills and Trusts, Property POAs, Healthcare POAs, Living Wills and HIPAAs
- Work directly with clients, beneficiaries and financial advisors
- Answer questions and provide information to prospective and current clients
- Provide overall support to attorney’s business needs, scheduling appointments with clients, responding to emails and recording and storing client information
- Schedule client meetings both in-person and via zoom
- Prepare final documents for execution of Estate Plan documents
- Coordinate execution of Estate Plan documents with clients and act as a Notary or Witness at signings
- Lead the onboarding and training of new staff members
- Develop and maintain training materials, processes, and resources to support consistent staff training.
- Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and support to administrative staff
- Oversee the day-to-day activities and responsibilities of administrative staff
- Serve as a resource for administrative staff when questions, challenges, or procedural issues arise.
Qualifications
- Responsible, reliable and confident speaking with clients, attorney’s and financial advisors
- Previous experience with Estate Planning Documents beneficial but not required
- Excellent communication skills with ability to interact professionally with staff, attorneys, paralegals, clients and advisors
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team, have an acute attention to detail and multi-task and prioritize while working in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong technical skills, particularly Microsoft Office
