Role and Responsibilities
Facilitate the company’s third party compliance programs in accordance with UDAAP, ECOA, FACTA, FCRA, CAN-SPAM, and other lending regulations. Assists in identifying risk associated with third party policies and procedures. Assists in growing the business by selling additional services to clients and by developing new business markets. Core responsibilities include:
Acts as a liaison between Learn2Comply (L2C) management and clients.
Support the development and implementation and compliance policies with each managed client
Support the development and implementation of compliance procedures with each managed client
Support the development and implementation of a Client’s Compliance Management Program with ongoing maintenance as needed
Provide ongoing support and guidance as it relates to new regulations and best practices to L2C management and Clients
Prepare reports and written summaries as requested by L2C management and Clients for Monthly and Quarterly reporting
Convey audit observations and assist in client remediation as necessary
Performs the compliance function both onsite and offsite for various clients through the L2C “fractional staffing” offering
Product management for KMS product offered by L2C
Upsell clients on various company product offerings
Perform compliance duties and other services on behalf of L2C affiliates
Qualifications and Education Requirements
A qualified candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a minimum of ten years of experience in regulatory compliance. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role in the audit and compliance areas is required. Proven ability to perform in a dynamic client environment while working with multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge and understanding of State and Federal Consumer Laws, Regulations, and best practices.
Familiar with short term lending or consumer lending as well as call center operations
Ability to perform reviews and to prepare policy manuals and compliance review procedures
Ability to train on policies and procedures
Ability to develop new business and pursue new industry opportunities
Good computer and communication skills
Some supervisory experience
Additional Notes
Travel will be required approximately 10 to 15% of the time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
