Maple Grove Law Firm is seeking an experienced full-time paralegal for its Estate Planning Department.
Must have a strong interest in and desire to learn all aspects of Estate Planning, and the associated documents. The position requires extensive client contact. Excellent communication skills and the ability to empathize with clients are a must. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment that provides an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of clients and their families. Document drafting skills, attention to detail, excellent proofreading skills, and proficiency in Word are also required. Duties include paralegal & legal administrative/secretarial work.

Requirements:
Paralegal degree preferred.
3+ years of estate planning paralegal experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, legal billing software, document management, eFile/eServe, and WestLaw and estate planning-specific software (CLEPRO).
Responsibilities:
Daily interaction with clients via telephone and email. Document drafting skills, including correspondence, attention to detail, and excellent proofreading skills.
Close communication and coordination with the attorney, including email, calendar, file management, and tracking files progress.
Familiarity with legal terminology, forms, procedures, and basic principles of law, and confidentiality.
Perform legal and administrative tasks. Maintain and organize client files
Ability to establish priorities, working independently and with others.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary: $52,000 – $68,000 annually.

Schedule:
Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
Work Location: On-site in Maple Grove, MN 55311.
