Senior Litigation Paralegal Jobs in Dallas, TX at Law Office of Domingo Garcia
Davidson Troilo Ream & Garza, P.C. is seeking a qualified associate attorney to assist the Firm’s Litigation section.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Providing legal advice and guidance to clients;
Prepare and handle litigation cases as lead and co-counsel, including state and federal court appearances, hearings, trials, municipal court prosecution, administrative law hearings, depositions, oral arguments, mediations and negotiating settlements;
Review and draft petitions, motions, pleadings, orders, briefs, memoranda, discovery and other legal documents;
Conduct legal research, analysis and writing on various legal matters;
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school;
Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas;
0-5 years of litigation experience required. Insurance defense as well as Governmental litigation experience preferred;
Experience with drafting legal documents (pleadings, motions, discovery, etc.);
Detail-oriented problem solver with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases effectively;
Strong oral and written communication skills, critical thinking and analytical skills;
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others in a professional office environment;
Occasional local as well as state-wide travel may be required.
