RockPoint Law P.C. is a growing consumer-focused law firm representing clients in Lemon Law and related consumer protection matters.
We are seeking a Senior Lemon Law Attorney to join our expanding legal team. Depending on experience, qualifications, and overall fit, this individual may join the firm at the Senior Associate or Partner level.
This is an opportunity for an experienced Lemon Law attorney who wants to take on significant responsibility, manage a substantial caseload, contribute to the growth of the practice, and potentially play a leadership role as the firm continues to expand nationally.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an attorney who has substantial hands-on Lemon Law experience and understands the practice from intake through resolution.
The ideal candidate is not simply familiar with Lemon Law concepts—they have demonstrated experience managing Lemon Law matters, developing case strategy, negotiating claims, working with opposing counsel, and driving cases toward successful resolution.
This role offers the opportunity to:
- Manage a significant Lemon Law caseload. Take ownership of matters from inception through resolution. Develop litigation and settlement strategies. Work directly with clients and opposing counsel. Handle complex Lemon Law issues. Mentor and support junior attorneys and legal professionals. Help improve legal processes and workflows. Contribute to the continued growth of the firm’s Lemon Law practice. Potentially take on broader leadership and business-development responsibilities at the Partner level.
Bar Admissions
Candidates must be actively admitted and in good standing in at least one of the following jurisdictions, with preference given to attorneys admitted in multiple states:
- Florida Texas New York New Jersey Pennsylvania Other U.S. jurisdictions may also be considered.
Multistate bar admissions are strongly preferred, particularly for attorneys interested in taking on a broader national role.
Candidates must be able to maintain active bar membership and comply with all applicable requirements in the jurisdictions in which they practice.
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school. Active bar admission in good standing in at least one relevant U.S. jurisdiction. Significant Lemon Law experience is required. Demonstrated experience managing Lemon Law matters. Strong understanding of applicable Lemon Law statutes and consumer protection laws. Experience evaluating claims, evidence, repair histories, warranties, and damages. Strong legal research and writing skills. Excellent negotiation and communication abilities. Ability to independently manage a substantial caseload. Strong organizational and case-management skills. Ability to work effectively in a remote environment. Strong client-service orientation.
Litigation Experience
Litigation experience is strongly preferred.
Ideal candidates will have experience with:
- Pleadings Discovery Motion practice Depositions Hearings Mediations Settlement negotiations Trial preparation Litigation strategy Managing cases through resolution
Attorneys with extensive Lemon Law settlement experience but limited courtroom experience may still be considered depending on their overall qualifications.
Senior-Level Responsibilities
Depending on experience and whether the attorney joins as a Senior Associate or Partner, responsibilities may include:
- Manage and oversee a significant Lemon Law caseload. Develop case strategy and litigation plans. Review and evaluate potential claims. Analyze repair histories, warranties, vehicle records, and evidence. Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and legal memoranda. Conduct discovery and respond to discovery. Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials. Negotiate directly with manufacturers and opposing counsel. Communicate directly with clients. Monitor case deadlines and budgets. Resolve cases efficiently and strategically. Mentor junior attorneys and legal staff. Assist with developing and improving Lemon Law workflows and procedures. Contribute to training and quality-control initiatives. Collaborate with attorneys across multiple jurisdictions. Assist leadership with strategic growth of the practice.
Partner-Level Opportunity
For the right candidate, this position can provide an opportunity to join the firm at the Partner level.
Partner-level candidates should bring not only substantial Lemon Law experience but also the ability to:
- Lead attorneys and legal teams. Develop and implement litigation strategy. Mentor and develop associates. Help build and expand the firm’s Lemon Law practice. Develop professional relationships and referral sources. Contribute to business-development initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency, and client service. Take on increasing leadership responsibility within the organization.

Compensation
$150,000–$250,000 annually
Compensation will be based on experience, bar admissions, Lemon Law expertise, leadership responsibilities, and whether the attorney joins the firm at the Senior Associate or Partner level.
Additional compensation opportunities are available based on performance and role responsibilities.

Work Arrangement
This is a fully remote position.
Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in at least one applicable U.S. jurisdiction and must comply with all applicable rules governing the practice of law in each jurisdiction where they handle matters.
