Job Description:
Provide legal consultation and appraisal services for the entire Banking System and its Clients.
Monitor, review, and make recommendations related to legal advisory and training activities to enhance compliance with laws and internal regulations within the System.
Provide legal support in debt settlement, complaints/accusations, and disputes.
Assist in drafting and reviewing legal aspects of contracts; participate in negotiations, resolve legal conflicts, and handle pre-litigation disputes related to transactions and contracts with external parties as assigned.
Prepare legal documentation for filing lawsuits, defending against lawsuits, and participate in or assist with litigation in court or before competent State authorities to protect the Bank’s rights and interests.
Draft/edit the Department’s Newsletter as assigned.
Update and assess the impact of new legal regulations on internal documents.
Participate in the Bank’s training activities.
Build and maintain good relationships with State agencies and judicial authorities.
Take part in the Bank’s general activities.
Continuously improve and develop personal skills to enhance job performance within the Legal and Compliance Department.
Perform other tasks as assigned by Department leadership.
Job Requirements:
University degree in Law.
At least 4 years of experience in legal compliance within the banking sector or in legal roles at Fintech companies, e-commerce businesses, IT firms, or payment intermediaries.
In-depth knowledge of legal regulations in Fintech, Banking & Finance; Intellectual Property Law, Enterprise Law, and Investment Law; strong reading and writing skills in English to support contract review, documentation, and legal advisory in English.
Strong analytical, assessment, synthesis, and forecasting abilities.
