Currently, they are seeking a Senior Legal Project Manager to join their US team.

This role can be fully remote, unless the individual is located within a commutable distance to one of their offices – then the hope would be they would come into the office on a semi-regular basis.

Reporting into the Associate Director of Legal Project Management, the Senior Legal Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the firm’s lawyers in managing the firm’s business and clients through early-state matter engagement, budgeting, reporting, and on-going matter lifecycle to ultimately help promote profitability.

Responsibilities:

Lead the development and scoping of budgets across various practice areas within the firm.

Oversee large-scale, high-profile client matters, focusing on project management and budget tracking.

Utilize tools such as Iridium, Clocktimizer, Aderant, HighQ, Smartsheet, Foundation, Preqin, Bloomberg, SSRS, and Excel to analyze, extract, and present data in support of Legal Project Management goals.

Deliver timely, accurate, and professionally formatted budgets and progress reports to both internal teams and clients.

Prepare client-facing reports, marketing collateral, and presentation materials.

Identify project risks or improvement opportunities, escalate appropriately, track through resolution, and document key takeaways.

Build proficiency in firm systems and data, applying financial acumen and problem-solving to support LPM and attorney needs.

Work closely with Pricing, FP&A, Client Operations, and other business units to support project delivery and enhance processes across the matter life cycle.

Collaborate with Knowledge Management, Practice Management, and Information Services to advance practice innovation.

Train and mentor junior team members on LPM tools and best practices, promoting high standards of service and continuous development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree – Required

JD highly preferred

7+ years of related experience in a Law Firm environment

PMP or Prince 2 Certification preferred

Experience with data analysis and reporting tools

Compensation commensurate with experience.
