Simmons and Hanbury have been exclusively instructed by a global technology business on a new Senior Legal Counsel position based in London.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to join a high calibre business, with management responsibility of a small team underneath you and reporting directly to the GC. This is an opportunity to accelerate your career and gain experience leading you towards Deputy GC or GC in the future.
The position
The role is broad rather than a typical tech role of being constantly churning through sales cycles. The role includes:
Variety of commercial contracts and advisory in a high growth company.
Team management of 3 staff.
Privacy advisory.
Support on corporate and governance matters.
Risk advisory and issue spotting.
Experience requirements
5+ PQE years experience*
Strong academic background.
In-house experience preferably in high growth company.
Experience working in areas such as tech, SaaS, fintech, payments or gaming/gambling would be advantageous.
Strong commercial awareness, conviction, and willingness to provide considered, practical and calibrated advice.
