Due to continued growth, we are recruiting a Senior Legal Counsel position working for an exciting and high growth ESG focused Australian Infrastructure company.
Reporting into a Head of Legal you will join a team of whose areas of responsibility include corporate governance/CoSec, key transactions and capital raising, SEC advice, corporate finance, operations and construction and energy contracts (procurement and connection) IT, IP, Data, Privacy, Tax and intercompany arrangements, employment, and regulatory work/safety.
We are seeking a Lawyer from c5 years PQE level coming from a general commercial contracts, corporate/M&A or IT/TMT background with large/top tier law firm training. This position would be general commercial contacts in nature and duties would include:
A focus on general commercial contracts and compliance work and the drafting, reviewing and negotiating of NDAs, services agreements, supply agreements, SaaS and other IT, marketing, recruitment and other commercial contracts.
IT, IP, Data, Privacy, Tax and intercompany arrangements, employment, and regulatory work/safety.
Company secretarial and corporate governance work including drafting board papers and resolutions, Directors’ duties and preparing and lodging filings as well as reviewing and drafting corporate governance policies and materials.
Sydney city based and salary dependent on experience c$180-265K and competitive STI + shares/options
