In House Legal Counsel – Private Funds – collegiate international team – great funds experience – 5-8 years pqe – London Our client is an established independent global fund advisory business with a reputation for leading the private markets space. Their global expansion has led to the need for a Senior Legal Counsel to join the Legal team in London.
Reporting to the UK based GC you will be part of the team to support the primary fund placement, secondary and GP Capital Advisory teams. As an ambitious and driven team leader you will have experience working within a private funds-related role (whether in-house or private practice). You will be comfortable assisting the teams globally with fundraising and secondary mandate legal matters.
These may include dealing with engagement letters, marketing documentation, NDAs and liaising with fund or transaction counsel. The
project management
related work may include the compilation of key legal issues and compliance matters, assisting with the internal investment vehicle and client funds and offering general legal support to the business in relation to supplier and third-party contracts. Your excellent
communication skills
and
your ability
to deal with internal stakeholders will be key to your success.
