Position **
You will act as a high-ranking legal executive within the legal division of a complex healthcare system, playing a critical role in directing the department’s day-to-day functions. This position provides strategic legal support across both the clinical care (provider) and insurance (payor) sides of the organization. The role demands an experienced legal professional with in-depth expertise in healthcare regulations, contract law, risk oversight, and dispute resolution.
Work directly alongside the General Counsel, delivering strategic legal counsel and support across all departments.
Contribute to the creation and execution of internal legal frameworks and protocols to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local laws and industry regulations.
Perform in-depth legal analysis and provide actionable advice on complex issues, particularly in areas such as healthcare compliance, labor law, contractual matters, and more.
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution.
Licensed in the state of Florida.
Understanding of key healthcare statutes and regulations such as HIPAA, the Stark Law, and the Anti-Kickback Statute.
