II. MAIN PURPOSE:

We are seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the BOCs and handling legal requests from various branches, ensuring compliance with regulations, and liaising with legal agencies for complex cases.

 

III. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITIES:

Support BOCs:

Provide legal assistance and advice to the BOCs on various matters.

Research and interpret laws, regulations, and rulings to ensure BOCs are informed and compliant.

Handle Legal Requests from Branches and Headquarters:

Respond to legal inquiries and requests from branches and headquarters, including but not limited to obtaining and renewing ERC (Enterprise Registration Certificate) and IRC (Investment Registration Certificate).

Ensure all legal documentation is accurate and filed in a timely manner.

Residential Property Matters:

Provide legal expertise and support in residential property-related issues.

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other property-related legal documents.

Liaise with Legal Agencies:

Coordinate with external law firms and legal agencies for complex cases and issues that require specialized legal expertise.

Manage relationships with external legal partners to ensure efficient and effective resolution of legal matters.

Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure company policies and procedures comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and organized records of all legal documents and correspondence.

Prepare regular reports on legal activities and issues for senior management review.

IV. JOBREQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field.

At least 05 years of experience in a legal role, with a focus on residential property matters preferred.

Strong understanding of legal procedures and regulations.

Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficient in English and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
