We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Legal Counsel to join a global team to advise on diverse issues including complex legal questions, commercial contracts, public procurement, competition law, product liability, medical device regulatory issues, data privacy, and partner with the business and functions to provide strategic and practical solutions to support business growth and mitigate risks.

- Location: Eindhoven (hybrid attendace depending on needs)
- Contract length: Jul 5 – Dec 1, 2026 (flexible start)
- 24H per week
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day legal support to local business units, functions, and the board
- Advise on a broad range of legal matters (e.g., commercial contracts, competition law, public procurement, product liability, regulatory, data privacy)
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements in Dutch and English
- Partner with stakeholders to deliver practical, risk-aware solutions that support business growth
- Identify, anticipate, and mitigate legal risks
- Deliver legal guidance and training on policies, procedures, and legislation
- Support implementation of legal processes and projects
- Collaborate with internal experts and external counsel to resolve legal issues effectively and efficiently
- Manage relationships with outside counsel to ensure quality and cost control
- Support business activities, including client interactions
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer under Dutch law with 6+ years’ relevant experience
- Strong experience in MedTech/healthcare and operating within the Dutch regulatory environment
- Excellent Dutch and English (written and spoken)
- Strong commercial mindset with analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- High integrity and sound professional judgment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment
- Experience adapting global templates to local (Dutch) legal requirements
- Experience in life sciences or other highly regulated industries
- Willingness to travel within the Netherlands
