How You’ll Make An Impact

  • You will serve as the primary legal and compliance partner to Transformation of Industry China, advising leadership on strategic, commercial, operational, corporate, and regulatory matters.
  • You will lead and coordinate the review, negotiation, and approval of customer contracts, supplier agreements, settlement agreements, and strategic cooperation arrangements.
  • You will identify, assess, and mitigate legal and compliance risks, helping business teams make informed decisions aligned with applicable laws and internal requirements.
  • You will collaborate with compliance, finance, procurement, sales, project management, HR, EHS, and tax teams to deliver practical, business-focused solutions across the organization.
  • You will manage disputes, claims, investigations, regulatory inquiries, and external counsel while promoting a strong culture of integrity through training, awareness, and knowledge sharing.

What You Bring

  • You are a qualified lawyer in China with strong knowledge of international commercial legal practice.
  • You bring more than 10 years of post-qualification experience gained within a multinational company, leading law firm, or similarly complex business environment.
  • You have proven experience supporting commercial contracts, project businesses, manufacturing or industrial operations, dispute resolution, compliance, and corporate governance matters.
  • You understand key compliance areas including anti-corruption, antitrust, data privacy, export control, sanctions, and third-party risk management.
  • You have excellent communication, negotiation, drafting, and presentation skills in both Chinese and English, combined with sound judgment, resilience, integrity, and strong stakeholder management capabilities.

The team works closely with business leaders and cross-functional partners to provide practical legal guidance and effective compliance governance. Their work spans commercial transactions, project execution, procurement, manufacturing, services, corporate governance, and regulatory matters. Team members are committed to helping the business navigate complex challenges while maintaining high standards of integrity and accountability. Collaboration is central to the team’s success, with close partnerships across finance, sales, project management, HR, EHS, tax, and compliance functions. Together, they enable informed decision-making, manage risk effectively, and contribute to Siemens Energy’s long-term success.
