Client: International company in motor vehicle and service business

Responsibilities:
Legal Advisory & Contract Management:
- Provide high-quality legal advice on daily operations, including reviewing, drafting, revising, and negotiating contracts and agreements (e.g., customer, vendor, collaboration, partnership, development, and business licensing agreements).
- Ensure protection and risk mitigation related to business operations and commercial activities.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Oversee compliance with Thai laws and regulations, including data privacy, data security, intellectual property rights, export control, and open-source matters.
- Handle disputes and litigation, developing resolution strategies and managing external legal resources as needed.
- Lead or support compliance investigations and provide compliance training to employees at all levels.
Policy Implementation & Training:
- Implement group policies, strategies, and procedures within the legal field, promoting legal compliance across the organization.
- Develop and deliver relevant training programs, contract templates, and guidelines to internal stakeholders.
Strategic Leadership & Collaboration:
- Anticipate and address legal matters, developing resolution strategies and handling potentially difficult situations diplomatically.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business, providing practical and commercially focused legal solutions.
- Partner with other legal functions with other internal business units to ensure alignment and successful execution of legal strategies.
Regulatory & Permitting Support:
- Provide guidance on Thai regulations and legislation, ensuring compliance with permits required to operate the business.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations, advising the business on potential impacts and necessary adaptations.
Management & Leadership:
- Manage and oversee the work of internal and external legal resources, including other attorneys and legal teams.
- Serve as a member of the Management Team, contributing to business development activities and strategic projects.
- Represent in Boards, Councils, Committees, and Networks as deemed appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law
- Minimum 10-15 years of legal experience, either in a law firm or in-house, with experience in commercial contracting and Thai legal frameworks.
- Strong commercial contracting experience, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex agreements.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to apply legal, business, technical, and financial insights to provide value-added advice.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to contribute to broader business conversations with legal expertise.
- Strong business acumen and ability to represent legal and compliance matters clearly and concisely.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- English: Professional level
