Our client, a well capitalized group with a number of projects across different stages, is seeking a skilled individual to join their team to support long term strategy initiatives. This individual will be consistently engaging with internal and external stakeholders to progress projects as well as evaluate and advise on risks tied to all their agreements/partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements related to stages of a project (EPC, PPAs, O&M, financing/JV agreements, etc.)
- Collaborate with internal teams, executive leadership, and external counsel
- Identify and mitigate legal risks related to project execution and regulatory challenges
- Advise on permitting processes, environmental regulations, zoning laws, and other legal requirements for project development
Required:
- JD from a nationally accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing with a state bar
- 5+ years of transactional legal experience at a law firm or in-house
- Prior experience in alternative investments preferred
