Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced legal professional to join a growing in-house legal team in Boston. This role offers broad exposure across corporate, regulatory, compliance, and employment law, making it an excellent fit for adaptable and business-savvy attorneys. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in legal practice from a top-tier law firm and the ability to provide strategic guidance on a wide array of legal issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management strategies.
Draft, negotiate, and review a variety of commercial contracts and agreements.
Provide guidance on employment law matters, workplace policies, and internal investigations.
Support dispute resolution and corporate transactions, including M&A and financing deals.
Collaborate with business teams to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
Oversee relationships with external legal counsel as needed.
Qualifications:
5-8 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), ideally from a leading law firm or a combination of law firm and in-house roles.
Strong academic credentials from a respected law school.
Well-rounded legal expertise spanning corporate, commercial, compliance, and employment law.
Ability to navigate complex legal issues and provide sound, business-oriented advice.
Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
Experience in risk management, regulatory affairs, or dispute resolution is a plus.
