A reputable organisation is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to provide expert legal advice and guidance on corporate, investment, and regulatory matters.
Responsibilities
8-12 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, investment law, or financial services law.
Strong expertise in investment transactions, private equity, fund structuring, and M&A.
Experience advising on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory risk management.
Knowledge of UAE legal frameworks, financial laws, and regulatory bodies.
Proven ability to manage complex legal negotiations, contract drafting, and transaction structuring.
Experience handling litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters.
Familiarity with compliance programs, AML regulations, and risk mitigation strategies.
Strong experience working in asset management, financial institutions, or sovereign wealth funds preferred.
Understanding of legal automation tools and AI-driven legal risk analysis is an advantage.
Experience providing legal support for investment committees, due diligence processes, and corporate structuring.
Arabic language skills are required.
