Senior Legal Counsel
We are selecting a Luxembourg-experienced Senior Legal Counsel
You will play a pivotal role in providing strategic legal counsel and engaging in all legal matters across our diverse portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee company-wide legal initiatives and projects, providing insightful counsel to drive strategic decision-making.
- Offer expert guidance on corporate structuring and organisation, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Manage the establishment, management, and dissolution of companies and funds across multiple jurisdictions.
- Draft, review, and evaluate a variety of legal documents to support business objectives, including contracts, agreements, and memoranda.
- Conduct thorough reviews of contracts and paperwork related to private equity and real estate transactions, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Handle dispute matters and litigation coordination, managing external counsel where required
- Lead and support special legal projects as directed by senior stakeholders
- Analyse documentation associated with investments undertaken by various entities within the organisation.
- Manage trademark affairs at the group level to safeguard intellectual property rights.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to legal and compliance standards.
- Proactively monitor legal and regulatory developments, providing timely updates and recommendations to senior management.
- Deliver comprehensive reports summarising key legal insights and implications for strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with all stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Fluency in Russian and English is required, with knowledge of French as a plus.
- A law degree with a minimum of 8 years of Luxembourg legal experience. CCDL and additional qualifications in corporate law will be considered as an advantage.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in legal roles, preferably within Corporate speciality, Litigation, from a Bank, BIG 4, Law Firm, private family office or similar environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Expertise in corporate structuring, organisational governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to provide strategic legal counsel and drive decision-making processes.
- Thorough understanding of private equity and real estate transactions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct comprehensive legal research.
- A proactive approach to monitoring legal and regulatory developments.
