Job Title: Legal Knowledge Manager
Salary: $95,000-$100,000+ depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time | Hybrid (2–3 days/week in office)

About the Role:
Out nationally recognized law firm with a footprint across major U.S. cities is seeking an experienced Legal Knowledge Manager to lead internal knowledge-sharing initiatives across the firm. This is a high-impact role focused on streamlining access to legal information, optimizing internal processes, and supporting attorneys and legal teams in their daily work.
You’ll serve as a key connector between the legal, operations, and tech teams—building systems, fostering adoption, and keeping resources current and usable.
What You’ll Do:
Lead firmwide efforts to organize legal know-how, templates, forms, and precedents
Build and maintain centralized systems for internal research and reference materials
Work closely with attorneys, practice groups, and leadership to identify knowledge gaps
Promote adoption of document management and collaboration tools
Stay ahead of legal technology trends and evaluate potential new solutions
Organize training and internal education sessions on KM tools and best practices
Provide user support, monitor effectiveness, and continuously improve systems
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years in a law firm knowledge services, library, or legal operations role
Comfortable working with legal research tools and document management platforms (e.g., Westlaw, Lexis, iManage, PACER, etc.)
Strong organizational and communication skills—able to collaborate with attorneys at all levels
Background in Information Science, Library Science, Legal Ops, or similar field (Bachelor’s required; Master’s or JD a plus)
Prior experience at a mid-sized to large law firm highly preferred
