A reputable law firm is seeking a professional Legal Administrative Assistant to deliver comprehensive support to its legal department. This position involves juggling multiple responsibilities while assisting partners in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will excel in time management, demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, and take a proactive approach to solving challenges. Professionalism and meticulous attention to detail are essential, particularly when engaging with high-net-worth clients. This is a full-time, permanent role offering an annual salary of $80,000 to $90,000.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and edit correspondence, legal documents, and court filings with accuracy and attention to detail
Maintain and organize case files, ensuring a well-structured system for a paper-intensive practice
Manage calendars, coordinate schedules, and arrange meetings for assigned attorneys
Generate client billing statements and provide support with financial documentation
Track deadlines, prioritize workloads, and ensure the successful completion of all assignments
Process both manual and electronic court filings, including the preparation and submission of pleadings and motions
Provide additional administrative support as required to ensure seamless team operations
Qualifications:
5 years of experience as an administrative or legal assistant, ideally within family law or a related area
Prior experience supporting high-net-worth clients is advantageous
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing clarity and professionalism
Familiarity with legal software platforms like SurePoint, NetDocuments, and e-filing systems is beneficial
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is highly preferred
