A prominent Hong Kong-listed company (or group) is exploring adding senior legal talent with deep private practice backgrounds to support corporate, compliance, governance, and transactional matters in a listed environment.
Ideal Profile
- Senior lawyer with excellent credentials: Top-tier law firm training/background (e.g., Magic Circle, US/UK international firms, or leading HK firms), strong academic record
- Substantial post-qualification experience (typically 15+ PQE), with proven expertise in areas relevant to listed companies — such as capital markets, M&A, corporate finance, regulatory/compliance (HKEX/SFC), corporate governance, or commercial contracts.
- Experience advising listed issuers or handling public company work is a strong plus, but exceptional private practice candidates open to the transition are welcome.
- Strong commercial acumen, maturity, and ability to operate independently while advising senior stakeholders/board level.
- Fluency in English (and ideally Mandarin/Cantonese) is highly valued.
